Choosing a Dog Walker

Dog walkers can visit your home whilst you are out at work and take your dog for a walk. When choosing a dog walker, find out if they are insured and Police checked, and ask to see proof. Find out if the dog would be walked on or off the lead and where he would be taken for the walk.

You could also ask if they walk several dogs together and find out which dog breeds your dog would be walked with, or whether he would be exercised alone. If you are unsure about using a particular dog walking service, ask for references, and contact other dog owners who use the service for their opinion.
